Quebec issues ministerial order to prevent optometrists from leaving public system | CBC News

Due to a ministerial order in Quebec, optometrists can now renew prescriptions for patients, which was previously prevented by the Collège des médecins du Québec. This new regulation will be in place until August 31, 2023 or until the minister decides to annul the order.
