The results of North America's 50 Best Restaurants were announced Thursday night in New Orleans, and Montreal walked away with four spots on the list: Mon Lapin at #5, Le Violon at #15, Beba at #27, and Sabayon at #34 (a new entry this year).

Montreal's four spots are part of a larger Canadian sweep, part of a total of 14 restaurants that made the 2026 list, five of them landing in the top ten: Quebec City's Tanière3 came in at #9, Restaurant Pearl Morissette out of Lincoln, Ontario, claimed the #3 spot, and the Calgary speakeasy Eight that seats eight people across a 20-course meal debuted at #2 in only its first year of eligibility. Chicago's Smyth took the top spot.
