L’Atelier Tréma in Bedford is where pottery and practicality collide with a Maritime twist. Co-owners Marie-Joël Turgeon and Jordan Lentik bring decades of experience to their craft, turning out ceramics that are as functional as they are striking—all shaped and fired in-house. Think sturdy butter dishes that won’t flinch at the oven or dishwasher.

The studio doubles as a café-bistro, serving locally sourced snacks alongside its ceramic offerings. Pastries, sandwiches, and desserts reflect the same attention to detail as the pottery, grounding this space firmly in its Eastern Townships roots.

Opened in 2021, this spot is as much about improvisation as it is about art, evolving organically as its owners dream up new possibilities. L’Atelier Tréma isn’t here to fit into a box—it’s here to make things that last, whether it’s coffee mugs or memories.
