Baguette Brochette has brought the vibrant street food culture of the Ivory Coast to Montreal, blending African culinary traditions with the French baguette in an innovative and delicious way. Founded by Jad Ezzeddine, the restaurant first opened in the Plateau in 2019 and quickly became a local favourite for its fresh ingredients, bold flavours, and fast, affordable service.
The signature dish, pain brochette, features skewered chicken, beef, or vegetable fillings paired with freshly baked baguettes. Vegetarians and vegans aren’t left out, with options like Beyond Meat sandwiches, while halal offerings ensure inclusivity. Complementing the sandwiches are homemade sauces, North African spice mixes, and juices, adding depth to every bite.
