Photo of Les Serres Point du Jour, a Farm

Les Serres Point du Jour redefines local farming its own way in L’Assomption with its state-of-the-art greenhouse complex, delivering fresh tomatoes and peppers year-round to Québec tables. With sustainability at its core, the 100,000-square-foot facility uses natural gas heating, predator insects to combat pests, and automated systems for precise water management, cutting down on energy use and environmental impact.

Founded by agronomist Robert Thérien and engineer Jocelyn Magnan, the project blends deep agricultural expertise with innovative technology to boost Québec’s food autonomy. Beyond produce, their agrotourism kiosk showcases cutting-edge agricultural research and offers family-friendly activities, making it both an educational and culinary stop in the region.
