Tête de Pierogi is doing serious comfort out of a small counter on rue Masson. This Rosemont newcomer specializes in handmade pierogi with fillings that change with the seasons—think sun-dried tomato, basil, potato, parmesan—topped with crispy onions, sour cream, and herbs. It’s old-world Polish cooking with just enough room for play.
There’s also cabbage soup loaded with ground beef and rice, wild mushroom broths rich with shiitake and oyster, and a focus on housemade everything—from dough to garnishes. The vibe is casual, the pace is fast (they sell out often), and the following is growing for good reason: this is takeout with soul.
